Mr. Vijaykar represents community choice aggregation providers, clean energy companies, and transportation sector clients in administrative litigation, rulemakings and other regulatory matters. Mr. Vijaykar’s practice also involves counseling clients on a range of energy and utility law issues, as well as the development and implementation of policies advancing distributed energy resource deployment.

Experience

Prior to joining Keyes & Fox, Mr. Vijaykar worked as a Staff Attorney at the Environmental Law & Policy Center (ELPC), an environmental legal advocacy organization based in Chicago. At ELPC, Mr. Vijaykar’s practice focused on utility regulatory litigation and clean energy policy advocacy in several states across the Midwest, including Illinois, Michigan, Minnesota, Ohio and Iowa. Mr. Vijaykar was also responsible for drafting legislation related to distribution grid planning and distributed energy resource compensation.

Prior to ELPC, Mr. Vijaykar worked at Whitt Sturtevant, a boutique Chicago law firm where his practice focused on energy and utilities regulatory law.
